He has been hospitalized 15 times, because of mood swings. The first hospitalization took place three years ago. He has violent thoughts toward those who have caused him problems. Had a very successful business for 5 years. Then his wife sued him, and took a lot of his business. He felt angry. Three months later, he took Ritalin for attention deficit and dyslexia. (These had been diagnosed when he was 17 years old.) After one dose of Ritalin, he had a psychotic break, and was violent, threatening, and delusional.
