Vol.IX #4 - Staying Grounded In Emotional Cases
Simillimum - Winter 1996
Amy Rothenberg, N.D.
From a talk presented at the HANP Case Conference, Portland, Oregon, November 1995You know, when the first case conference happened, in 1988, they asked me to talk, and I felt kind of dumb giving a talk, because I'd only been in practice for about a year or two, and didn't feel like I really had very much to say. And even though now I feel like a successful homeopath, because my patients get better, there's still a little bit of a feeling that I don't have that much to say-probably because there are people who've been in practice a lot longer, and have more breadth and depth of knowledge and experience, and can put it together in a more brilliant and exciting and stimulating and inspiring kind of way ... I felt that way then, and I still sort of feel that way, so even if you feel like you're insecure, and you don't have anything to teach and you don't have anything to say ~everybody feels that way.
